Hi there, I’m Vi - a journalist and communications major with over 3 years of experience in journalism, digital, social, and sport media.

A graduate from RMIT's renowned journalism and communications program in Melbourne, my early involvement in the sports media industry has cultivated a strong foundation in journalistic reportage, communications, and social media capacities.

I am currently a full-time Multimedia Journalist and Socials Producer with 9News Melbourne and Australia.

WHY SPORTS MEDIA?

My affinity for sports media started at a young age. As achild of immigrants, I was welcomed into Australia's rich sporting culture which in its truest essence, stems beyond the field. A common language understood by all, the country’s sporting landscape serves as a cultural vehicle for belonging, and being able to share and amplify those diverse stories to grow our games and communities has been at the forefront of my passion for journalism.

I have been fortunate enough to bring these stories to life through national publications and international organisations like Australian Associated Press (AAP), AFL, The Daily Aus, Triple R Radio, The Canberra Times, Ministry of Sport, Formula 1/Australian Grand Prix Corporation, etc…
